Cemetery Tour 2008
 On Sunday, November 9, 2008, Tolland Historical Society presented a cemetery tour at the South Cemetery on Cider Mill Road. Ruth Shapleigh-Brown, of the Connecticut Gravestone Network, led the tour and talked about the changes in monuments and styles of gravestone carving through the years since the cemetery opened. She identified examples of the work of several stonecarvers in the area.
